The library begins our Summer Hours on May 29 - we will be closed Sundays May 29 through September 4.

We are also closed Monday, May 30 in observance of Memorial Day.

All concerts are 12:00-1:00 p.m. in the Dominic Froio Memorial Garden. For maximum comfort, bring your own lawn chair (for when you're not dancing!).


Attend all 3 concerts and get your raffle entry stamped at each one for a chance to win a prize at the last concert! Prizes provided by Roosters Barn & Grill, La Campana Mexican Restaurant, and Anyways Pub, all in Bloomingdale.

The IL Secretary of State's Mobile Driver Services Facility will be at BPL on Thursday, June 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for your convenience. Stop in for the following services:

Driver's License Renewal | State ID Cards | Duplicate License | Corrected License | Vision Screening | Vehicle Renewal Stickers

Teen Take & Make - Diamond Art Sun Catcher

Sign up begins Monday, June 13 (email kyager@mybpl.org to register)

Create three dazzling sun catchers using the diamond painting technique. Hang them outside or in your house to see them shimmer in the sunlight!


Teapot Fairy Garden (In-Person Craft)

Wednesday, June 15 | 1:30-3:00 p.m.

Decorate a teapot with paint and turn it into a magical fairy garden for a succulent plant. Click here to register.

Explore our new Makerspace as we create all sorts of fun and useful items like keychains, coasters, custom buttons, and jewelry. Crafts will take anywhere from 15-60 minutes. Drop by each session and see what's new!

Wi-Fi Extended throughout Parking Lot

BPL has installed an exterior Wi-Fi antenna to our building so that our Wi-Fi signal now extends throughout our parking lot and Gazebo area. Residents without home Wi-Fi may now use this resource for remote learning, downloading of eBooks, audiobooks, magazines and more. We have designated the back row of our parking lot as the official Drive-Up Wi-Fi location and is signed as such. Please remember to keep up social distancing rules. Remember that this is a parking lot that is still used by the Village of Bloomingdale and others, so observe all safety precautions as normal. Wi-Fi is available 6:00am to 11:45pm every day.
