There are so many things going on at Bloomingdale Public Library this month!

Here are just a few of the important dates
and exciting events going on in March:
The library has common federal income tax forms available to the public. Other forms may be printed at the library for 10 cents per page.

To order additional federal forms, call the IRS at 1-800-829-3676 or download forms online at www.irs.gov/forms-instructions .

To order state forms, call the Revenue Department at 1-800-356-6302 or download forms online at www.tax.illinois.gov/ .
The 2020 Census is around the corner - information should arrive in the mail to each residence mid-March. The Village of Bloomingdale, Bloomingdale Park District, Bloomingdale Public Library and local schools are committed to working to get as accurate a count as possible to help all of our residents, both locally and state-wide.

The library is a source for you if you need a computer and/or internet to complete your form online - just come in and speak to someone at the Reference Desk. See 2020census.gov or contact the Census Bureau Customer Service Center at (800) 923-8282 .
The US Military has utilized trained working dogs since WWI. These dogs are trained to work as scouts, trackers, sentries, mine/tunnel detectors, as well as for bomb and drug detection. Today, all branches of our Armed Forces employ K-9 services, with over 3,000 K-9s and their handlers stationed worldwide.

Barks & Boots is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to say “Thank You” to the brave Service Members and K-9’s serving in all branches of our military and local law enforcement.

What We Do: Barks & Boots assembles and sends care packages to Deployed Service Members and K-9’s all over the world. We also work to with local law enforcement to help provide their K9’s with needed supplies or materials.

How You Can Help: You can help Barks & Boots by donating items we include in our care packages. You can locate our K9 wish list on Amazon.com & they will ship your donation directly to us, or bring items listed below to Bloomingdale Public Library March 5-31 and they will be picked up by Barks & Boots.
