It's Going To Be a Great Day!
We Want To See You Saturday

The Baton Rouge Pride festival, will take place from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m., Saturday, June 13, at the Baton Rouge River Center, with lots of entertainment, the community resource fair,... and all the other family friendly indoor activities you're used to. As always, admission is free all afternoon.
Then hang around for Pride After Hours, our new dance party and entertainment, from 8 p.m. until 11 p.m. (Cover only $10 in advance at River Center Box Office or from BR Pride team members. There also will be a few available at the River Center Saturday until about 3 p.m. at the $10 price -- before they go up to the $15 day of event price.) Be sure to be there June 13 for Baton Rouge Pride.
Want to Know a Few More Facts
So what's new this year at BR Pride? Here are just a few things:

  • Huge Space. The Baton Rouge River Center Exhibition Halls offer more than 70,000 square feet of space. That's nearly three times what we've had before. All cool and comfortable.
  • More Entertainment. We've got some of your old favorites like Michigan Avenue, the Krewe of Divas, Austin Babtist Women and the New Orleans Gay Men's Chorus. But we've also got several new ones like New Venture Theater, Orphan Annie Band and more.
  • You Can Volunteer. You don't have to be a member of the pride team to volunteer and help put it all on. Respond to this email with "volunteer" in the subject line to be connected with Vicki Davis, our volunteer coordinator.
The River Center parking garages will be open the day of the event, with $5 event parking charges. Of course, street parking is free on weekends, so you are welcome to use that.
