New Classes at Red Deer Sewing Centre
We have some great new classes in May with our newest instructor, Lennie Anderson!
Here is a little bit about Lennie:
I am a wife, mother of 3, and grandmother to 10 beautiful grandchildren. As well as being a quilting instructor, I am a birth and postpartum doula, and childbirth educator.
I have taken several sewing classes in Calgary, both at SAIT and through continuing education. After our kids were grown, I discovered the joy of making quilts. We had the pleasure of living in New Zealand for a few years, which was a great benefit to my quilting education. An important lesson I learned there was to give myself permission to play with techniques and not worry if it didn’t work but to enjoy the process. I love to learn new ways to play with fabrics and “explore the possibilities”.
