Welcomes its New President
|

Houston, November 10th, 2019 –
BRATECC Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of
Ulisses Sperandio
as its new President. The decision was held last Thursday, Dec. 5th, by unanimous vote. Ulisses effective date as President started Tuesday, Dec. 10th, 2019.
Ulisses has served on the Board of BRATECC since 2011 and has played a key role in the development of this organization over the years. Ulisses has over 30 years of experience in the O&G industry with Schlumberger.
We are thrilled to have someone with so much history and depth of experience to lead BRATECC into its next chapter. The Board of BRATECC would like to thank Gustavo Tardin, Petrobras America's President Director, for his interim support to BRATECC during this time. Please join us in welcoming Ulisses Sperandio as BRATECC’s new President, as we look forward to all our projects and initiatives for the new year.

On November 19, 2019, Brazil Texas Chamber of Commerce hosted its
Fall Business Mixer
at Fogo De Chão Steakhouse.
The speakers for the night were Minister Marcos Pontes - Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation and Communications of Brazil, alongside Nyamusi K. Igambi - Director of the U.S Commercial Service in Houston.

Pre-salt production sharing contracts expected to require 28 FPSOs in ten years, calculates PPSA
|
Nov. 25, 2019 - Pre-Sal Petróleo SA (PPSA) estimates that the demand for new FPSOs could reach 28 new units to be installed between 2021 and 2030 to develop the reserves contracted under the production sharing model. There are a total of 17 exploration and production contracts signed between 2013 and this year, when TOR and the 6th round of pre-salt sharing took place.
