Dear Friends,

I'm writing with incredibly exciting news! After three years in the making, we're thrilled to announce that Boycott, our new documentary, will make its debut on November 14th at the 12th Annual DOC NYC film festival in New York City.

Boycott weaves together the stories of a news publisher, an attorney and a speech therapist, who, when forced to choose between their jobs and their political beliefs, launch legal battles that expose an attack on freedom of speech across 33 states in America.

Americans have a long history of harnessing boycotts to drive social and political change, from farmworkers to civil rights leaders to anti-apartheid activists. But in recent years, state legislators have passed laws that penalize individuals and companies for choosing to boycott Israel due to its human rights record. Flying under the radar, the laws are now being used as a template for legislation designed to silence voices of dissent on a whole range of issues, from climate change to gun control and beyond. Boycott is a bracing look at the far-reaching implications of the anti-boycott legislation and an inspiring tale of everyday Americans standing up for our right to voice dissent.
We are humbled that Boycott will be included in the US Competition section at DOC NYC and thrilled to share it with audiences soon. The in-person premiere will take place on Sunday, November 14 at 4:15pm at the SVA Theatre in Manhattan. The screening will be followed by a discussion with very special guests.

We would be delighted for you to join us. If you will be in New York City or know others who will be, you can purchase tickets for the in-person screening here. DOC NYC also has a limited number of tickets for online viewing in the US, available for purchase here.

This marks the beginning of a meaningful journey as we kick off our campaign to bring attention to this consequential but underreported story. For those of you who may not be able to join us, stay tuned as we bring Boycott to cities and communities across the country and globe in the months ahead. More soon!

In anticipation,
