HUD Funding Announcement for Unsheltered Homelessness

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has announced a first-of-its-kind funding opportunity totaling $322 million in Continuum of Care Program grants for supportive services, rental assistance, and other costs for efforts to reduce unsheltered homelessness.  Please note that Collaborative Applicants must apply for this funding on behalf of their community.  As the Collaborative Applicant for the San Antonio and Bexar County region, SARAH plans to apply for this funding and hold a local competition process, as outlined in the HUD Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).

Please see the resources linked below and stay tuned for further details on this funding opportunity, including eligibility criteria and deadlines.  SARAH must submit the proposal, including projects recommended for funding, to HUD by October 20, 2022.

We are excited at the opportunity to increase funding in our community for these vulnerable populations and look forward to your support as we embark on this collaborative process!
