License Revocation Upheld for Haskell's Abortion Mill
Second District Court of Appeals sides with Ohio Department of Health

THE 2ND DISTRICT COURT OF APPEALS OF OHIO HAS SIDED WITH THE OHIO DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HAS UPHELD THEIR LICENSE REVOCATION ORDER OF THE WOMEN'S MED CENTER.

Though we anticipate an appeal on behalf of Women's Med Center, we are certainly encouraged by this decision which upheld the lower court's decision as well. "At least twice now in the past 2 years, our courts have said that the Ohio Department of Health has the authority to 'revoke, suspend, or refuse, to renew the license' of this facility," says Margie Christie, Executive Director of Dayton  Right to Life.

"We hope that the Ohio Department of Health will act swiftly in closing the doors of this unlicensed facility. How long must our children and women wait for justice? Women deserve better than abortion and our children deserve protection," she adds.
