BREAKING NEWS: RAILROAD STRIKE THREAT ENDS AS TENTATIVE AGREEMENT IS REACHED
A tentative agreement was reached early Thursday morning which calls for a cooling-off period while the ratification process continues. The agreement will now move to the unions for a vote, however the cooling-off period is expected to span several weeks to avoid any railroad shutdown should the vote not pass for any reason. President Biden stated the following regarding the tentative agreement, "The tentative agreement reached tonight is an important win for our economy and the American people. It is a win for tens of thousands of rail workers who worked tirelessly through the pandemic to ensure that America's families and communities got deliveries of what have kept us going during these difficult years."
