Survey of Interest for 5-11 Year Old Vaccine Efforts
Following a CDC approval for Emergency Use Authorization, BRHD expects to begin offering COVID-19 vaccines to children ages 5-11 the second week in November. A slower roll out of vaccines is expected as we will receive a limited number of vaccines each week.

In order to determine how to best serve families and their 5-11 year olds, we are asking all parents/guardians to complete this vaccination interest survey by Thursday, November 4. Your answers will help us plan when and where to host vaccine clinics, making it easier for you and your families to get vaccinated. The survey is completely anonymous and used for planning purposes only.

Thank you for helping our District’s children to get vaccinated against COVID-19!
Live Virtual Town Hall: Wednesday, October 27
BRHD will host a live town hall on Wednesday, October 27 at 7:00 PM to discuss the latest approvals on COVID-19 booster shots and vaccines for 5-11 year olds.

Vaccines for 5-11 year olds are just around the corner. As the CDC finalizes its guidance and VDH and BRHD prepare to begin vaccinating, we know there are many questions regarding the roll out and vaccine supply for our children. To address these questions and provide more insight on our plans to begin vaccinating 5-11 year olds, BRHD will host a live virtual town hall on Wednesday, October 27th at 7:00 PM. We encourage parents and caregivers with children ages 5-11 to attend this town hall to learn how and when their child can get vaccinated.

Tune into the Town Hall via the links below, where BRHD staff will provide updates, followed by the opportunity for viewers to ask their own questions live.
