Welcome to the year 2025

A year full of activity and creativity

We are pleased to announce that this year we will offer a variety of artistic programs. In the field of visual arts and in collaboration with our partners, we will hold three exhibitions: in March for Queensland Women's Week, in April during Harmony Week, and in August for Multicultural Month, along with various programs and events.

We invite visual artists of all levels, from established to emerging, to participate and showcase their artistic talents. Your works will be exhibited in a variety of galleries and locations with no commission or venue hire fees. A small entry fee per artwork will apply to cover transport and administrative costs, including listing, name tags, and the opening event. No commission will be taken on sales.

We are thrilled to announce that the Women’s Arts and Craft Expo will take place on 8th March 2025. Full details of this highly anticipated event will be shared in the next edition of BRICKS. The expo will feature a diverse range of activities both on and off the stage, along with an exhibition showcasing arts and crafts from the local area and surrounding regions. All works will be available for purchase with no commission fees.

Following our successful involvement with the SWELL Sculpture Festival in 2023 and 2024, we have decided to support individual artists with their applications and even assist with their productions. To express your interest, please send an SMS to 0490134857, and a member of our team will get in touch with you. Kindly note that the closing date for SWELL Sculpture Festival entries is 30th January.

Additionally, there will be several innovative and new projects, concerts and performances, storytelling sessions, and a wide variety of workshops, including kids’ creative workshops, clay and ceramics, painting, theatre, and acting. Many other innovative programs will offer community members the chance to engage in local creative activities.

These events would not be possible without the generous financial support of the City of Gold Coast, along with our partners and sponsors.
