Voices of the Coast: Zemzemeh Brought Persian Poetry to Life!

GCMAGIC was proud to present Zemzemeh at Tom Atkin Hall as part of our Voices of the Coast program.

Tom Atkin Hall was transformed during the recent Zemzemeh performance, where audiences were drawn into an intimate world of Persian mystical poetry, music, and immersive sound.

Through the resonant tones of Siyavash’s tanbur and the haunting melodies of Greta’s shah kaman, the duo created a deeply expressive performance that shifted effortlessly between quiet reflection, storytelling, and vibrant rhythmic energy.

Blending ancient musical traditions with subtle contemporary elements, Zemzemeh offered audiences a rare and moving opportunity to experience the beauty, emotion, and spiritual depth of Persian music in a modern setting.
