BRIDG Monthly Newsletter | September 2019
FROM THE CEO
As the BRIDG team settles into our new office building, I have spent time considering the unique challenges that lie before us in this next phase of our journey— from doing our part to deliver the technical excellence that will inspire economic growth to helping build the STEM talent pipeline through our relationship with one of our most inspiring partners: NeoCity Academy . One of the most frequent questions we address in our discussions with companies that are candidates to relocate to Central Florida is whether or not the region has the ability to supply the talent that these businesses will require. With NeoCity Academy just down the road from BRIDG, I can honestly say that Florida is working hard to develop and retain a strong workforce to fill the high-tech, high-value jobs at NeoCity.

There is a bold educational transformation taking place in Osceola County as the faculty at NeoCity Academy delivers a fresh new approach to STEM-based education. Seeing how these students are responding to the unique opportunities they experience every day truly energizes every member of the BRIDG team as we work to ensure that these students have career opportunities waiting for them upon the completion of their chosen educational paths.

We are blessed to have NeoCity Academy as a constant reminder of the talent that exists right in our own backyard. I am confident our state will soon begin to see even more exciting progressions in the way we deliver STEM education to students, from kindergarten through college.

Come join us as we build tomorrow, today, here in NeoCity!
