Tickets are now LIVE for our Bright Red Sparks Awards Dinner!

We are so excited to welcome our amazing enterprising community at Edinburgh Napier University to join us for our Bright Red Sparks Awards Dinner. This is our second Bright Red Sparks Awards Dinner, and we have made sure it is even BIGGER and BETTER than the year before! It is set to be an evening full of inspiration, celebration, and of course, loads of fun.

Top five tips for budding entrepreneurs

On 7 March, we launched our new Freelance Workshop with over 300 amazing  Edinburgh Napier students signing up. We had a fantastic panel to finish the event, and wanted to share their top tips on becoming a freelancer with you.
Entrepreneurial Adventures in Munich: The APE International Bootcamp 2019

Nick Fannin, along with 11 Edinburgh Napier students, headed to Munich last week to participate in the APE International Bootcamp within the  Strascheg Centre for Entrepreneurship at the  University of Applied Sciences.
Next Generation Business: Shaping a New Economy

Last week, we supported a fantastic event surrounding the global movement to use business as a force for good at Edinburgh Napier's Business School. Over 50 individuals attended the event, with guest speakers from Finisterre, Beryl, Echo Shoppe, Scotland CAN B, and the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations; plus wonderful students from Edinburgh Napier's Business School who led the conference. It left us all motivated and inspired to shape the new economy for good!
BRT Community Updates
Bleedin' Saor: Period Blether series

Our BRT Coordinator, Vladimir Ivanov, recently contributed to Bleedin' Saor's Period Blether series. Bleedin' Saor is a collaboration, led by Edinburgh Napier students, that aims to raise awareness of period poverty and end the stigma surrounding 'that time of the month'. The Bleedin' Saor team are often working away in our Incubator at Merchiston campus.

Converge 2019 is here!

Looking to get your business idea off to a flying start? Applications are now open for Converge 2019, the leading company creation competition for staff, students and recent graduates of Scottish Universities and Research Institutes.
The RSE Enterprise Fellowship Programme is open!

Do you have a great business idea with science or tech at its core?
Are you a graduate, PhD, staff member or academic innovator?
Do you need help accelerating your project?

Apply to become an RSE Enterprise Fellow and you could benefit from a salary, plus 12 months of company creation training. Each fellowship is worth up to Β£90,000 - including funding, cutting-edge business training, mentoring, and access to vital networks.
