Lynn Mann founded Supernature Oils, the multi-award winning cold pressed rapeseed oil business, alongside her husband Chris in 2011 on the Midlothian farm which has been in their family for over 165 years. She will be giving a talk on the 24 September, 5pm - 7pm, in the Riady Lecture Theatre.

Jamie has a PhD in Computer Science from Edinburgh Napier, extensive security and digital forensics experience and was recently recognised as the ‘Champion of Champions’ at the inaugural Scottish Cyber Security awards for his contribution to the industry. He will be speaking about his journey starting ZoneFox on the 26 September, 5pm - 7pm, in the Lindsay Steward Lecture Theatre

We did a lot of planning over the summer and are happy to present you with our events schedule for the coming trimester! There are a number of exciting workshops and talks, and we hope you will be able to join us for them.

Pete McLean, one of our business advisers, is running a workshops at Sighthill Campus this Friday, 20 September, from 12pm - 2pm. The workshop will focus on setting goals, identifying values and reflecting on what are the most important traits of an entrepreneur.

Fresh Ideas is Scotland's longest running national student enterprise competition for ideas at an early stage and is designed exclusively for students and graduates(up to two years) of all subjects! Submit your ideas every month and win amazing prizes.
BRT Community Updates

Our friends at the Enterprise and Technology society held their first member's meeting on Monday 16 September. Everyone is very excited for the society's plans, as they are running a number of interesting events and activities. Their next event will feature a member of the BRT team talking about how we might best support our students at the University.
