We prepare students to become addiction counselors/professionals and are online.

Do students in my program have opportunities to conduct research with faculty and present?


Yes, in 2021 an undergraduate student in Addictions and faculty co-presented at a state conference.

Do students in my program have opportunities to be engaged in Interprofessional Education (IPE) opportunities?


Yes, students have had opportunities to apply as and be selected to gain experience in clinical health settings through the School of Medicine’s  Area Health Education Center (AHEC) Scholars’ Program.

Study Tips to help you succeed:

  • Obtain textbooks and read prior to lecture.
  • Develop a routine to complete asynchronous online activities.
  • Consistently contact professors, especially early in the semester.
Scholarship Opportunities
  • A scholarship is available to students completing their Practicum (during final semester) via a grant from the Trull Foundation.
