Under the auspices of the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport), a Capital Program for 2019-2023 was developed which highlights over 300 projects throughout the Commonwealth. Specialty geotechnical contractor Keller was awarded the foundation work as a dual package that included drilled shafts to support the piers along with micropiles to assist with underpinning of an associated existing utility tunnel. ... Monitoring of wastewater for SARS-CoV-2 has been valuable in detecting and preventing the spread of the virus given that individuals can start shedding the virus in wastewater up to 7 days before they are symptomatic enough to seek testing. Restoring Crescent Marsh - An Engineering Challenge

An engineering success story, the Crescent Marsh Restoration Project gave a struggling, fragile ecosystem a chance to thrive once again. When the culvert—located under a capped municipal landfill—that connected the marsh to an estuary failed, VHB’s project team had to determine a safe solution for its replacement. City of Somerville Phase 1 Lead Services Replacement Project

The City of Somerville is engaging in a multiyear project to replace 450 lead service lines at various properties throughout the city. The city and Kleinfelder completed Phase 1 of this project in the Fall of 2021 which replaced lead service lines at 58 residences.
