Give just one hour of your time each week as a CARE volunteer, and you can make a big difference in the lives of District 2 students!
CARE - Cultivating Academic Readiness and Excellence - is a program in which members of the District 2 community volunteer to help students refine skills they’re being taught by their classroom teachers. As a CARE volunteer, you will work with K-8 students in reading, math, science, or other subjects.
To become a CARE volunteer, join us on Wednesday, August 30, at 10 a.m. for a brief training session at the BSD2 Educational Administration Center located at 210 S. Church Road in Bensenville.
The CARE volunteer program kicks off on Monday, September 11.
To volunteer with CARE, or for more information, please contact Lara Schwarz, CARE Coordinator and Community Liaison, at 630-766-2605, ext. 3202 or lschwarz@bsd2.org.
