Celebrating Our Amazing BSD2 Teachers During Teacher Appreciation Month

As Teacher Appreciation Month comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate all the incredible teachers across BSD2 who make a difference in our students' lives every single day.

Our teachers are the heart of our schools. They make coming to school fun, engaging, and inspiring for students of all ages. Through their dedication, creativity, and compassion, they create classrooms where students feel important, supported, and welcome.

Whether they are encouraging a struggling learner, celebrating student successes, or building meaningful connections each day, BSD2 teachers go above and beyond to help every child grow and succeed.

Their hard work, commitment, and passion are what make our district such a special place to learn and thrive.

Thank you to all of our BSD2 teachers for everything you do. Your impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we are grateful for the positive difference you make in our schools and community every day.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Month!

Mojca Anaya Honored at DuPage IASA Recognition Breakfast

Mojca Anaya was recently honored at the DuPage IASA Recognition Breakfast on April 15, an annual event that recognizes individuals who make a meaningful impact in their schools and communities across DuPage County.

Mojca was selected for her outstanding dedication, unwavering support, and positive influence on students, staff, and the broader school community. Her commitment to serving on district committees, including the Strategic Planning Committee and the Foreign Language Committee, as well as her involvement with the PTA and her work as a district CARE volunteer, continues to make a lasting difference and to inspire those around her.

“We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact Mojca has made within our school community,” Superintendent McCluskey shared. “It is an honor to celebrate her alongside other distinguished members of DuPage County.”

Congratulations to Mojca Anaya on this well-deserved recognition!

Trimester 3 Reports Available Online Beginning June 2

Trimester 3 reports, including your child’s Spring NWEA MAP report, will be available online beginning June 2 through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. A paper copy of these reports will also be mailed home and should arrive within approximately one week.

In addition, parents of students in 2nd and 5th grade will be able to view their child’s CoGAT results through the Parent Portal.

We highly encourage all families to log in to the Parent Portal to review final grades and assessment reports. The Parent Portal provides quick, convenient access to important student information and is the fastest way to view your child’s reports.

As we prepare to move toward a paperless system for the 2026–2027 school year, this is an excellent opportunity to become familiar with accessing report cards and student reports digitally.

Thank you for your continued support as we work to improve communication and access for BSD2 families.
