District 2 to Honor School Board Members at November Meeting
On November 19, 2025, District 2 Administration will pay special tribute to its board members in recognition of their dedicated service to the community, honoring their leadership and vision that help ensure every student has a strong chance to learn and succeed in this ever changing world.
James Stoltman — President
Mr. Stoltman leads the Board as President, setting strategy and leading governance across District 2. He brings decades of technical leadership from his work at Elgin Community College and deep local engagement, serving on the Bensenville Police Commission and being a member of the Bensenville Community Foundation.
Anita Miller — Vice President
As Vice President, Mrs. Miller brings organizational skill and educational insight. Her experience coordinating the Jr. Bison cheer board and coaching the Fenton Cheer Team allows her to help manage events and programs smoothly. She also contributes to health education by guest lecturing in Healthcare Occupations classes, helping students connect classroom theory with real-world practice.
Victoria Gonzalez — Secretary
As Board Secretary, Mrs. Gonzalez brings strong community leadership and strengthens school–family ties through her work as a Project CARE mentor, her volunteer efforts in band and jazz programs. Her prior service with the Bensenville–Wood Dale Rotary, along with her current role as Vice President of the Bensenville Community Foundation, deepen her connection to the community.
Jacqueline Dye — Board Member / Youth & Policy Champion
Ms. Dye leads our advocacy and youth-focused efforts in District 2. As the founder of Generation Next Empowerment, she helps at-risk youth with education, career readiness, and housing support. She uses that experience to shape board policies and student programming. She also represents the board on policy matters as the board delegate through IASB.
Robert F. “Bob” Laudadio — Board Member / Facilities & Capital Planning Lead
Mr. Laudadio directs the board’s oversight of facilities, infrastructure, and capital projects. With a background as Director of Buildings and Grounds, he brings hands-on knowledge of budgeting, contractor oversight, and long-range campus planning to ensure our facilities meet present and future needs.
Milton Mercado Jr. — Board Member / Operations & Community Liaison
Mr. Mercado supports the board in operations, logistics, and community relations. As a longtime resident, event organizer, and member of the Bensenville Police Commission, he brings grounded insight into the needs of students, families, and neighborhoods.
Maria Cristina Reyes — Board Member / Student Life & Family Engagement Advocate
Mrs. Reyes strengthens our board’s connection to student life and families. With experience coordinating educational programs, after-school clubs, and collaborating with the Blackhawk PTO and park district, she brings practical insight into what students and parents need daily. She also represents the board in NDSEC (North DuPage Special Education Cooperative).
