Dear Residents, Staff and Families,
Just a quick note to let everyone know that the results from our Thursday Madrona House residents and staff testing were ALL NEGATIVE!
This is great news for our community. We will continue to monitor residents for any signs or symptoms of Covid and we will conduct a repeat round of testing on Monday, August 23rd out of an abundance of caution.
A huge thank you to the UW Covid testing lab for expediting our samples amidst the current wave. To imagine the surge that is going on – this week they processed approximately 10,000 samples/day whereas last week they processed about 4,000/day.
I would also like to thank our amazing nursing and human resources team -they make the essential emergency testing seem like a breeze. We couldn’t do it without them!
