Dear Parents,

Big week next week
Next week we celebrate the beginning of Lent and our Mass on Ash Wednesday will be the focus of the week. But, the focus of the weekend will be the annual benefit next Saturday, March 9. To celebrate both of these special days, we have events leading up to and surrounding them.
On Tuesday night, we will have our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner sponsored by the Home and School Association. Please come and join other school families in the auditorium for a plateful of pancakes to fill up before the Lenten season.
During our school days, we will celebrate School Spirit Week leading up to the benefit. See Weekly for details.
So...please bring the noise and energy next week (except for Wednesday) and please bring yourselves to the benefit on March 9. (Not sure how many of you are aware but 'FOMO' was actually created when a parent couldn't make it to the benefit one year...we don't want any of our parents creating new acronyms because they missed out this year!)
And don't forget to come support our athletes at the Special Olympics this Saturday in the gym from 10 am- 12 pm!

If you are looking for ways to deepen your faith, have fun with family and friends, and create lasting memories for you and your children, we invite you to consider attending the 2019 Labor Day Family Retreat at Camp Maria, Leonardtown, Maryland.

We are looking for families with young children to join our group in 2019.   Please contact BS parishioner Susan Campbell ( for more information.
