BSSU - What is it? When? Etc.
Back to School Sign Up (BSSU) is the annual opportunity for parents and guardians to join organizations, pay school fees, fill out student directory information, purchase spirit wear and complete required HPISD forms online.
Through the BSSU process, you can also donate to the Bradfield Family Giving and the Highland Park Education Foundation Mad for Plaid campaigns.
Payments
BSSU payments may be made with either credit cards or ACH e-checks. Using ACH payments saves you and the PTA money on transaction fees because the ACH convenience fee is only $1 for your entire order. Credit card convenience fees are based on the total amount of the order, the maximum fee is $300. AMEX is not accepted. In-Person options: Cash, money orders and cashier's checks are accepted in person in the HPISD Business Services Annex Conference Room, 6915 Westchester Drive, during help desk hours. Personal checks are not accepted.
Login & Password
Your Skyward login and password are used to complete BSSU. If you do not know your password, click the "Forgot Your Login/Password" link on the Skyward login page. Your password will be sent to the email address on file in Skyward. If you need additional help, contact the help desk at 214.780.4040 or myhponline@hpisd.org between 9AM-4PM July 19-21 and July 24-26.
Other Helpful Tips:

BSSU Opens Wednesday, July 19 at 9AM and closes on Wednesday, July 26 at 4PM.
- BSSU instructions were provided via email from the district (new families received a letter in the mail). If you have not received this information, please contact the Bradfield Front Office starting Monday, July 17 to ensure that your enrollment information is correct.
- Please check your Skyward login and password prior to BSSU opening. You can change your password in the system.
- Complete BSSU as early as possible. That way, if any issues arise, you will have ample time to get them resolved before BSSU closes.
- Beware of auto-fill on your devices! Please ensure that all of the information you enter is accurate.
- If you have one child who has withdrawn from HPISD, you will not be able to complete BSSU for other children unless that child has been officially withdrawn. Please check with the school registrar to ensure this is completed. Call the BSSU Help Desk if you have any issues once the child is withdrawn.

If you are a two-household family, both households should complete BSSU and submit information for the directory. The student IS considered complete if only one household completes BSSU and submits all of the forms. BUT - IF BOTH HOUSEHOLDS HAVE NOT COMPLETED BSSU, both households will receive the reminder text and email. If the second household only wishes to submit information to be included in the school directory, go to tinyurl.com/hpisddirectory to submit the information.

The BSSU Help Desk is open 9AM - 4PM during the weekdays that BSSU is open. You may reach the Help Desk by calling (214) 780-4040 or emailing myhponline@hpisd.org during help desk hours. You can leave a voicemail after hours and the call will be returned. All calls and emails are returned daily.
