April 1, 2024

Dear Pete,

March was all about BEELINE who backed up his impressive maiden debut by winning the Hutcheson S. at Gulfstream Park on March 16th. He went to the lead early and had to fend off plenty of rivals in the homestretch. The $70,000 2023 OBS June purchase for Vintage Thoroughbreds LLC, Scott Estes, and Brian Hanley had his nose down at the wire to keep his undefeated streak alive. Thanks to everyone on the Riley Mott team for doing such a great job with this colt! Exciting times ahead...

This was the highlight of a busy month for Bradley Thoroughbreds as we worked the March OBS two-year-old sale and purchased a couple new prospects for our clients. We will be back down in Ocala before we know it at the OBS Spring sale, while keeping a close eye on our runners at home when Keeneland opens for their Spring meet!

April Runners

April is going to be chalk-full of races for the BT stable. We have a few runners pointing towards various races at Keeneland as well as a Group 3 to keep an eye on across the pond!

AUSTERE is pointing towards the G2 Appalachian S. at Keeneland on Saturday, April 6th. She has been doing well since her solid comeback effort in the Florida Oaks last month, and I am excited to see how she runs here.

METROPOLITAN (FR) is looking to make his three-year-old debut in the G3 Prix du Fontainebleau at Longchamp Racecourse on April 14th. Mario Baratti has conditioned this colt through the winter and he looks to be an intriguing prospect.

BLAZING SEVENS is set to make his first start of 2024 in an allowance race at Aqueduct on April 20th. This should set the Rodeo Creek Racing colt up for a big four-year-old season!

EXCELLENT QUESTION is aiming for an allowance race at Keeneland on April 7th for her first start back in almost ten weeks.

LIAM'S CHAMP is being pointed towards a race at Keeneland on April 13th for her four-year-old debut.

HOLA GATA has her eyes on an allowance race at Keeneland on April 7th. She is due a win after being second best in her last three runs.

GET YOUR KICKS is targeting an allowance race at Keeneland on April 13th.

SPIT THE BIT- When a horse quits running against the bit, usually because of fatigue; often said disdainfully: "Luck Lady really spit out the bit".

April has arrived and Spring racing is upon us! Opening day at Keeneland is Friday the 5th, and I am very much looking forward to watching our runners hit the track there. We will be on the lookout for some potential champions at the OBS Spring Sale this month. If we can help you find your next stable star, let us know!
