JUNIOR CONGREGATION

Junior Congregation service!

Saturday, October 31st
10:30AM-12PM


Students should arrive through the main doors.
Dismissal at noon will be from the multi-purpose room door.
(As a reminder, Mechinah-Gimel students are required to attend to at least 3 junior congregation services and 10 total services throughout the year!)

Please note: Students attending services Shabbat morning, November 9th for our Artist-in-Residence will receive Junior Congregation credit!!!

Save the date for SHABBAT CAMP - November 23rd, 10AM-1PM
Students attending the entire day will receive TWO SERVICE CREDITS!
TIME CHANGE & SUNDAY SCHEDULE
Don't forget to change your clocks and FALL BACK on Saturday night!!!

This Sunday we are also very excited to begin our Chugim ! Chugim are special blocks during which Aleph-Gimel classes will learn from each teacher for 3 weeks throughout the year. Topics will include: Jewish art, Jewish cooking,Theology, STEAM projects and Israeli Culture.

Tuesday, November 5th is election day . Many secular schools are closed, but BTBJ WILL HAVE RELIGIOUS SCHOOL on November 5th . On the 5th, we will have one bus from WES leaving promptly at 3:45 & returning after religious school. We know that some students may make other arrangements on this day and will not require bus service.

If you typically take a BTBJ bus to or from religious school , please FILL OUT THIS FORM so that we know whether to expect you on the bus on 11/5. Questions? Contact Mindy .

BUS REMINDERS
Does your child take a
bus to BTBJ on TUESDAY?
Please remember to let Mindy Davidoff know by 3PM each week if your child will NOT be riding the bus that day.

We also wanted you to know that due to traffic the Colonial buses have been taking longer than usual to arrive at BTBJ. We hope this is temporary and that we will all be back on schedule soon!

Jake's Bar Mitzvah Project
Please help Jake Steinberg by donating used sports equipment that will benefit the VVA (Vietnam Veterans of American.) They will see the equipment and the proceeds will benefit veterans in need. All equipment that fits in the box in the lobby! Thank you in advance for your help with my project.
