Richmond's First Baptist Church

The evening will feature a panel moderated by Ron Crawford, featuring Tom Graves, BTSR's first President, Linda Bridges, BTSR's first full-time elected faculty member, Isam Ballenger, BTSR's first professor of Missiology and founder of the Mission Immersion Program, and Mary Strauss, BTSR's first chair of the Board of Trustees. Come hear their stories and share in an exciting night that celebrates our past and looks ahead to our bright future.

Congratulations Deborah Loftis!

Deborah Carlton Loftis was honored by The Hymn Society in the United States and Canada (The HSUSC) in July by being named a Fellow of The Hymn Society, the highest honor given by the organization. The award "was conferred because of Loftis's work as an educator and scholar in the field of congregational song and for her significant contributions to The HSUSC as its Executive Director."
