What a Wonderful Weekend
It's amazing to think that the 75th Anniversary Reunion has come and gone, but for all those who came out, it was a weekend to remember. We were able to bring together 342 Alumni, friends and supporters, including 245 who took part in the parade. This was by far the largest gathering of Alumni that we've ever hosted and we hope that that number will grow even larger for the 80th in 2027.

We Want Your Photos and Video
We know that a big part of the fun in the days after the 75th was to check out the photos and videos of the event posted to social media. And while we did manage to save most of the ones we came across, we'd love to have copies of your photos and videos for the Alumni archives. If you have something to contribute, you can e-mail it to bttbalumni@gmail.com. If it's too big to send, please let us know and we'll make arrangements to get it.

The current BTTB photographers also shot all the events and will be posting them soon on the Band's SmugMug account: https://burlingtonteentourband.smugmug.com/ As each event's photos get posted, we'll be sure to share the link via the Alumni social media accounts.

An event like the 75th would not be possible without the hard work of a dedicated group of volunteers. Many people gave many hours both in the months leading up to the weekend and at the event itself. On behalf of the entire Alumni, thank you for all your efforts.

Congratulations to Don Allan
Congratulations to former BTTB Director of Music Don Allan on his enshrinement into the Burlington Performing Arts Centre Hall of Fame. Mr. A. was recognized for his 40 years of service to music in Burlington through both the Teen Tour Band and the Burlington Concert Band. When asked in 2014 what he was most proud of in his remarkable musical career, he pointed to all the youth he mentored over the years.

“I got the chance to nurture a lot of young people and watch them grow. The vast majority of them turned out A1.”

In being inducted into the Hall of Fame, Don Allan joins the Teen Tour Band itself which received the honour in 2017.
