Please be informed that due to the presence of the first cases of COVID-19 in the Republic of Guatemala and in order to prevent the spread throughout the country, it has been ordered by the President of the Republic the suspension of activities of all public and private entities as of today, March 17, 2020 until March 31, 2020.
Due to this full suspension of activities in almost the entire public and private sector (with few exceptions), the Trademark Office has been temporarily closed and all running terms and deadlines have been suspended until the measure adopted is lifted.

with the aim of protecting the health of our coworkers and in compliance with the orders of the President of the Republic in the ongoind State of Emergency,
will temporarily close its premises as of today.
However, committed to our clients and having the necessary tools to continue providing remote advice,
our operations will continue, to the extent possible, so we will be attending by email or phone all of your queries and requests.
However, please consider that during this period, it will not be possible to submit applications (filings, renewals, etc) before the Intellectual Property Registry and we will not have access to the files before said Office.
The measure decreed will be revised within 7 days, so we will keep you informed of any changes that may occur.
As soon as activities in the country return to normal, our firm will take all the necessary measures to reduce the impact that such suspension may have on the files and matters under our responsibility.
