CITATIONS

Canadian Customers:
Below are three excellent new studies and a link to an in-depth summary using IBDoc® were published in recent months:

IBDoc®:
Walsh et al.: This is the first study that correlates fCAL values generated by patients using IBDoc® to endoscopic and histologic clinical assessments. The correlation coefficient between IBDoc® and histology (Nancy) was found to be 0.88 and at a cut-off 187 µg/g, sensitivity and negative predictive value was 100%.

Moore et al.: This study performed in three Canadian centers showed a very good correlation between the IBDoc® results generated by patients and the laboratory based BÜHLMANN fCAL® ELISA as well as high usability scores for the home test.

Wei et al.: This study in a Taiwanese IBD population proved very good correlation between the IBDoc® results generated by patients and the laboratory Quantum Blue® fCAL as well as a high usability score for the home test. A large majority of patients preferred the home-test over the laboratory method or endoscopy.
