On Monday, BIA-LAV was invited to participate in a roundtable discussion on housing hosted by Assemblyman Tim Grayson. The Roundtable was one of four taking place across the State attended by regional city representatives, special districts, affordable and market rate developers. The discussion was based on the recently publishedUC Berkeley Terner Center reporton residential building fees, which was commissioned by legislation passed through by the Assemblyman bill, AB 879.
BIA-LAV was glad to be around the to help in identifying solutions to the constraints limiting housing opportunities in our State. The recommendations found in the report are a good starting place to contribute to this effort.
