For the Alani brothers, remembering their past and embracing
their foundations has always been important.
When the chance came to give back to their community,
brothers Ryan and Brad jumped at the chance. Both grew
playing for the Ballistic United Soccer Club, and now thanks to
the brothers, BUSC is benefiting.
The co-founders of Quick Swppp Corporation – an
environmental engineering company - are stepping up,
becoming the “practice jersey sponsors” for Ballistic.
“We have such found memories of our time playing for
Ballistic,” said the 43-year-old Brad. “My best friends that I
have today are Ballistic guys. The best man in my wedding was
a Ballistic guy. (BUSC) is very much tied to us and our
upbringing.”
This is the first year as a sponsor for Ballistic, but according to
the 46-year-old Ryan, it won’t be the last.
“We are going to build on this,” said Ryan, who went by the
name Rouzbeh when growing up. “Any way we can help, we
will do.”
It’s not the first time the brothers have wanted to work with
Ballistic.
“In 2012 we sat at a Ballistic meeting,” said Ryan. “We wanted
to open a soccer shop to compete with Soccer Pro, but we
couldn’t work it out. I think we put the cart before the horse,
and we went in another direction. But we have watched
Ballistic all along.”
