Honoring Our Amazing BUSD Team

With profound appreciation, we celebrate our exceptional BUSD team, whose dedication shapes the educational journey of our students. On May 9, 2024, we honored our Employees of the Year, recognized important service milestones, and bid farewell to retiring colleagues whose legacies inspire us. The Sierramont Middle School Orchestra Ensemble provided a wonderful performance at the event which took place at the Berryessa Youth Center. Thank you to our honorees for your commitment to excellence and for supporting our students!

Viva Escuela Event Highlights

Ruskin Elementary proudly partnered with the City of San Jose this year to host Viva Escuela! It was a celebration of safety and responsibility for our community in providing safe routes to schools for our students. Thank you to everyone who participates year-round in the Walk N’ Roll program. Walking or biking is a great way to get to school that also promotes healthy habits! We also kindly remind our community to be mindful of all traffic and safety guidelines to ensure our students have a safe route to school each day.
