Art Days 2019

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit artwork of any medium to the 29th annual BUMC Gallery for the Arts, sponsored by the Provost's Office. To be placed on the "submit list" or if you have any questions, please contact Keith Tornheim, PhD, at tornheim@bu.edu or 617-358-4172.

Artwork (paintings, photos, poetry, sculpture, needlework, etc.) will be collected on Friday, April 5 . Pieces should be framed if possible. Security will be provided. Work will be returned Wednesday, April 10.
Faculty Action
BUMC faculty are invited to apply for the BUMC Narrative Writing Program: Writing from the Frontlines of Clinical Care, Education and Research. This nine-month program provides the opportunity to develop narrative skills and competencies through reflective writing, reading and listening. 

Applications are due Friday, April 5, for the September 2019-June 2020 program. To learn more or for any questions, please contact Christy Di Frances , director of the Narrative Writing Program.

Vigil for New Zealand

On Friday, March 15, two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, were targeted in a gruesome terrorist attack in which 49 Muslims were killed. Please join the BU Schools of Medicine, Dental Medicine, Public Health and the GSDM Muslim Student Association as they host an interfaith vigil to honor the lives of those taken and stand together as a community.
