A Professor of Anesthesiology, Dr. Ortega served as Vice Chair for Academic Affairs in the Department of Anesthesiology at BUSM since 1998. He had been appointed ad interim chief/chair in July.

12/2 Steam Shut Down

There will be a steam shut down beginning at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, for a repair in the Instructional (L) and Housman (R) buildings. Steam is expected to be restored by approximately 1:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 3. The shutdown will impact all autoclaves and heat to some areas. The Conte (K) building also may be impacted.

The Parking Office is now issuing 2019 parking permit decals to existing parkers. 

Two NIH-funded proposals for $25,000 in direct costs for one-year, non-renewable studies will be awarded. Applications are due Friday, Jan. 11, 2019.
