Face Coverings and Physical Distancing 

As the Medical Campus works to reopen safely, we rely on all members of our community to comply with the University’s requirements for physical distancing and wearing a face covering. Please wear a face covering at all times while on the Medical Campus unless you are in a designated eating/drinking location (i.e., Chequers, Talbot Green) and adhering to physical distancing. Compliance is critical.

Anyone not wearing a face covering on the Medical Campus will be asked to leave. Please remind each other to comply.

The Summer Training as Research Scholars (STaRS) program concluded its 10-week research experience with a virtual symposium.

Whorl will print short prose, poetry and any visual art you can do justice to in print. Submissions are due by 5 p.m. EDT Sept. 8, 2020.

Register for the Association for Academic Minority Physicians 34th annual scientific virtual meeting on Saturday, Oct. 3. This meeting will engage participants in discussion around disparities in disease prevalence and treatment outcomes related to race and ethnicity, challenges with the nation’s preparedness, direction, and health systems, and the adequacy of the healthcare workforce.
