This Professorship honors the remarkable contributions and legacy of Dr. Corkey, Professor Emeritus. Dr. Ravid is recognized for seminal discoveries in megakaryocyte and platelet biology.


Dr. Pam, OB/GYN, and two-time Jeopardy! winner, now stars on GSN's Master Minds, where challengers compete to win $10,000 by out-knowing each other and resident experts like Dr. Pam and Ken Jennings.
 
BUMC faculty, fellows, residents, students and staff who are interested in educational innovations and scholarship are invited to submit an abstract or workshop proposal of ongoing or completed education projects for this interactive, virtual event. The new deadline for submission is Tuesday, April 20.

Please continue to send all galleys or proofs of accepted, unpublished manuscripts of research studies to Maria Ober or Gina DiGravio in the Communications Office. Also alert them when you receive new grant funding.

The Institute for Health System Innovation & Policy welcomes applications for funding from BU faculty-student partnerships pursuing interdisciplinary health care research.

Applications by faculty are due on Friday, April 16, at 5 p.m.

Is Science for Me? is a student-run project looking at how socioeconomic status affects the choice to pursue a career in medicine. They are collecting personal memoirs through April 12, and will be holding an event April 19 to discuss actionable solutions and takeaways.

Our Bodies Ourselves was a revolutionary publication, helping women take control over their own bodies, by exploring women’s health, sexuality, and bodies in its chapters, information that was not readily available to women at the time of the book’s publication.

In honor and celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the first publication of Our Bodies Ourselves, BUSPH is convening a panel of experts to discuss a range of topics related to women’s health. Register here.
