She will also serve as an assistant professor of family medicine and an attending physician in family medicine at Boston Medical Center.

The 10-week program, now in its fourth year, received more 600 applications for a class of 19 students. 

The August mixer was held for students with a common goal of serving underrepresented minorities in medicine and underserved populations.

Terriers Connect provides members of the BU community with basic skills for helping students in distress. Learn to identify signs of distress, develop effective skills for communicating with and supporting students and provide accurate information about referrals to mental health professionals.
