In an effort to prevent phishing attacks, security breaches, and ransomware, BUMC IT is rolling out Duo for Office 365 across the Medical Campus, department by department. Enabling Duo for Office 365 secures our email with the same security software already used for BUWorks and Healthway.

Daniel Remick, MD, professor and former chair of pathology & laboratory medicine, has been appointed as the Editor-in-Chief for the scientific journal Shock® Injury, Inflammation, and Sepsis: Laboratory and Clinical Approaches.

The Inclusive STEM Teaching Project, a National Science Foundation grant-funded program, is hosting a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) designed to advance the awareness, self-efficacy, and ability of STEM faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and staff to cultivate inclusive learning environments for all of their students.

The course will run from June 15 through Aug. 1 with self-paced weekly content. Participants have the option to join synchronous learning communities while taking the course.
