Lancet Essay and Photo Competition Open

The Lancet’s annual essay and photo competitions are seeking submissions. Faculty and students may get more information about the Wakley essay  or the Highlights 2020 photo competition. Learn more about this year’s theme and complete details on how to submit your essay. Essay submissions are due Oct. 12. Photo submissions are due Nov. 16.

Sexual harassment in higher education is pervasive, harmful, and costly. System-wide changes to the culture and climate in higher education are needed. To advance these efforts, BU joined the Action Collaborative on Preventing Sexual Harassment in Higher Education. Through this initiative, we are working to move beyond legal compliance to evidence-based policies and practices for addressing and preventing sexual harassment and promoting a campus climate of civility and respect.
