Dr. Long was one of 16 funded investigators out of 210 applicants. The award will allow her to continue her research on hepatic fibrosis in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Washington Street Closure July 25-26
Two blocks of Washington Street, between Concord and Springfield streets, will be closed from 9 p.m. Thursday, July 25, until 5 a.m. Friday, July 26, for filming. Emergency vehicles will be allowed to go through this area, but no other vehicular traffic will be permitted.
Calling All Exercise Instructors!
Seeking certified group exercise instructors interested in teaching Zumba, Bootcamp, or other active exercise classes to the BUMC community this upcoming academic year. Classes are held in the Fuller Gym from 5-7 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Instructors will be hired and paid by FitRec.
