Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Honors BUSM for Online Global Health Course

This course prepares people for safe, effective and culturally sensitive global health learning experiences and projects. 

Twenty-six BUSM students participated in the 27th Annual Rodman Ride for Kids and raised more than $10K!
Julie Palmer Honored for Work on Reducing Cancer Health Disparities

Julie Palmer, ScD, is the recipient of the 2017 American Association for Cancer Research Distinguished Lecture on the Science of Cancer Health Disparities funded by Susan G. Komen®.

A retired colonel, the professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology served as a military physician, flight surgeon and medical group commander, and has extensive experience in pre- and post-deployment medicine.
