The inaugural award recognizes a career of discovery that has made a lasting impact in the field of proteomics, the field which explores the distribution, dynamics and modifications of proteins in cells and living organisms and their relationships to health and disease.
In this new role, Dr. Lee-Parritz will be responsible for the development and implementation of diversity, equity, vitality, and inclusion initiatives for BUMG.
The national award is given to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to CME over an extended period.
Alan Hsieh and Harsh Patel created an educational tool exploring the functionality of operating room tables and scenarios in which falls occur.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to submit artwork of any medium to the 29th annual BUMC Gallery for the Arts, sponsored by the Provost's Office. To be placed on the "submit list" or if you have any questions, please contact Keith Tornheim, PhD, at or 617-358-4172.

Artwork (paintings, photos, poetry, sculpture, needlework, etc.) will be collected on Friday, April 5 . Pieces should be framed if possible. Security will be provided. Work will be returned Wednesday, April 10.
