Preparations continue for the careful, deliberate, incremental return of research activities and we have welcomed some of our students on clinical rotations back to the Medical Campus.
Continued thanks to BUMC Facilities, Environmental Health & Safety and the Building Coordinators for making and checking the necessary adjustments and signage based on CDC, Commonwealth and University guidance to provide a safe environment for all members of our community.

Friday members of the BUSM and BMC communities came together on Moakley Green to observe a moment of silence for the countless Black men, women and children whose lives have been lost due to the consequences of systemic racism.

The new OUT & Ally List is a public listing of clinicians, faculty, practitioners, researchers, staff, students, and trainees across BUMC and BMC who identify as LGBTQ+ or as allies for the LGBTQ+ community. The primary mission of the OUT & Ally List is to serve as a resource for BUMC LGBTQ+ students seeking mentorship, guidance, or academic and non-academic support. Additionally, the List enables BUMC community members to build connections and network around LGBTQ+ issues more broadly.

"Summer Soulstice" Open Mic Night
5 p.m. | Virtual Event
In honor of our colleague, Lance Martin, Diversity & Inclusion and Student Affairs invite you to "Summer Soulstice," a soulful open mic night at
5 p.m. on June 19, 2020.
Lance was planning this event just before he passed, and we have every intention of seeing it through.
Participants are encouraged to share their talents in singing, dancing, poetry, comedy, magic, musical instruments, art, and more. This event is BYOR (Bring Your Own Refreshments) so if food is one of your passions, we also look forward to seeing culinary dishes of your proud heritage.
Sign up here
to participate as a performer; we'll circulate Zoom information for general attendees closer to the date.
Any questions, comments or concerns, please reach out to
