Housman (R) Building Fire Alarm Testing, April 7-12
Beginning Sunday night, April 7, there will be off-hours fire alarm testing in the Housman (R) Building. The floor-by-floor testing will take place 11 p.m.-7 a.m, and will end on the morning of Friday, April 12. Questions? Please contact Control 617-638-4144.

Research shows that minority faculty often experience a lower level of grant-writing success. According to an article published in  Science , “Minority researchers in the United States consistently win National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding at lower rates than their peers.”

The AAMC Grant Writers Coaching Group for NIH Awards is designed for racial and ethnic minority faculty who are actively working on a K or R NIH grant proposal. The goal of the program is to support minority faculty in improving critical writing skills to strengthen grant proposals and increase diversity in medicine. 

The application deadline is April 11 .The workshop will be held on June 27 at the Grand Hyatt in Atlanta, and precedes the  AAMC Minority Faculty Leadership Development Seminar , which runs through June 30.
