The findings could advance the ability to study lung diseases including cystic fibrosis, respiratory distress syndrome, congenital lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis.

Urology department administrative manager Karen Clements (right) has been recognized for her dedication to the University with a 2017 John S. Perkins Award.

The two were recognized at Alumni Weekend for their distinguished careers in medicine.

Thirteen employees from the offices of the Dean, Financial and Grants Administration, and Proposal Development participated in Boston University's annual Global Days of Service.

Varsha Muralidhar, Pawarissara Osathanugrah and Alexus Skobodzinski have been recognized by the Association of Women Surgeons for their essay about a procedural change to reduce hazardous waste in operating rooms.
