More than 300 BUMC students, faculty and staff walked out of their classes and offices in their white coats or adorned in orange to demonstrate solidarity with the victims of gun violence in Parkland, Fla., and other cities and towns around the country.
The awards were established to recognize, honor and reward BUSM faculty who give special effort to ensure the best education for BUSM students.
Nominations, accepted by all students, are due Thursday, March 22.
Faculty, staff and students who are interested in educational innovations and scholarship are invited to submit a poster abstract or workshop proposal of ongoing or completed education projects for McCahan Education Day.
