Erika Wolf, PhD, a clinical psychologist in the National Center for PTSD/VA Boston Healthcare System and an assistant professor in the department of psychiatry at BUSM, is a recipient of the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers.


Justin Slade, BUSM '19, recently was awarded the "Permanente Journal Service Quality Award" at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement National Forum. The award is to acknowledge excellence in quality improvement projects.   


For the first time, a team of researchers led by Tarik Haydar, PhD, associate professor of anatomy and neurobiology, have identified the lifelong changes in gene expression in the brains of people born with Down Syndrome. 


Hui Feng, MD, PhD, assistant professor of pharmacology and medicine and her colleagues, have shown that T-cell leukemia cells use a particular cycle, called TCA or Kreb cycle, to support their growth and survival.
