The award recognizes medical students who are involved in public health issues in their community as well as those that work to increase awareness of public health service.

Sondra Crosby, MD, has been honored by her physician peers of the Suffolk District Medical Society.

The Massachusetts Medical Society award recognizes the development of an information technology tool that helps physicians practice medicine, teach medicine, or pursue clinical research.

Hosted by the Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, approximately 30 faculty attended the event.

A new study has found a way to potentially "silence" Ebola virus-infected macrophages.
