While there's significant progress in understanding the struggles faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer communities, BUSM's Joshua Safer, MD, FACP, says large gaps remain in understanding all aspects of transgender medicine and health care.

The Medical Campus community gathered March 30 to celebrate the many contributions of Dr. Carlos Kase, who is stepping down as Chief and Chair of Neurology at BMC and BUSM, after 11 years of service. Watch the video.

The North Shore Animal League of America's puppy van, which brings dogs and cats for faculty, students and staff to play with, will be on the Medical Campus, along with Boston Medical Center's Healing Paws therapy dogs.
