Vasan Ramachandran, MD, FACC, was named the Jay and Louise Coffman Professor in Vascular Medicine on Friday, Dec. 9.

Two BUSM investigators were awarded 2016 Research Grants by the Alzheimer's Association to support their work studying various aspects of the disease.

The assistant professor of medicine and founding director of BUSM's PA Program will serve as chair of the board of directors of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants beginning in Jan. 2017. 

Jean Ramsey, MD, MPH, recently received the 2016 EngergEYES Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology for her tireless advocacy and dedication to pediatric eye care.
